Talking about the paperless and remote trend of modern proofing system (I)

in the past few years, I have analyzed the needs of proofing in all links of production, and found that users' requirements for proofing have gradually changed from a single simulated printing result to today's requirements for proofing to achieve diverse functions. At the same time, I am also looking for a more reasonable and efficient proofing tool. Here we review the development history of printing proofing:

- before the 1970s: full use of printing machine proofing

- 1970s: mainstream printing proofing

- 1990s: the emergence of digital equipment proofing

- 2000: the rise of digital proofing based on ICC, the birth of remote digital proofing at the same time, and the proofing system has been greatly developed

- 2003: digital sample injection can also withstand the dissolution of organic solvents into the mature period to a certain extent. Form a comprehensive proofing/proofing system with multiple proofing methods. As a more convenient proofing tool, the paperless proofing method (screen soft proofing) began to receive attention

- 2005: the comprehensive proofing system has been very mature; The concept of paperless Remote Proofing rose, and began to be widely accepted in European and American developed countries and entered the production process

- 2006: paperless Remote Proofing has developed rapidly in Europe and the United States, and has become an indispensable part of the comprehensive proofing system. China's printing industry began to accept paperless Remote Proofing, and industry organizations began to promote this new technology

throughout the development history of proofing, we can see that high-quality, low-cost, efficient and convenient proofing/proofing system has always been our goal, and the comprehensive proofing/proofing system has gradually become the mainstream of the industry. We can also see that in addition to pursuing the quality and efficiency of proofing, the quality and efficiency of proofing process have also been greatly improved. The emergence of paperless proofing and Remote Proofing respectively provided two sets of solutions in 2016, which to a large extent met users' needs for high quality, low cost, efficiency and convenience

at present, the recycling rate of waste plastics in China is not high. The paperless proofing concept of paperless proofing is relative to the traditional paper medium proofing concept. Generally speaking, paperless proofing refers to the process of using high-quality computer monitors to reproduce samples and realize proofing, also known as screen proofing, soft proofing or virtual proofing. There are two conditions here: first, the display should meet the color standards of printing production. Using ICC feature files, we can easily solve this problem. Compared with traditional paper proofing, the characteristics of paperless proofing can be summarized as:

1. Efficiency. By using the computer to control the high-precision display to output the sample, we can realize the proofing operation in an instant. Its convenience and production efficiency have been greatly improved

2. The skill requirements for operators are very low. Compared with the paper proofing operator, the paperless proofing operator only needs to have basic computer operation ability

3. produce gb/t 1220 stainless steel rods at zero cost. Paperless proofing exists in the form of electronic documents. It does not need consumables such as paper and ink. The output samples do not need human and material transportation, nor does it need a storage room. In addition to power consumption and equipment depreciation, the production cost of paperless proofing is almost negligible
