Sina finance, as the exclusive strategic cooperation media of this forum, broadcast the whole process with pictures and texts. The following is the transcript of Tan Yukun, Deputy Secretary General of tire branch of China Rubber Industry Association
Tan Yukun: Good afternoon, leaders and friends! Just now, Ms. Deng Yali, the leader of our Rubber Association, introduced the situation of China's rubber industry. I am going to make some additions to the situation of the tire industry. We know that there is no drift or change in the zero indication value shown in. China's rubber consumption can be said to be the first in the world. China's tire industry is also the first in the world, and it is also a large tire producer and rubber user. First of all, I'd like to introduce the situation of Chinese tires. Sometimes I come across a friend who asks, how much is China's tire industry? Generally, we answer in this way. There are more than 500 tire enterprises in China, of which more than 300 have been demonstrated in three phases. What is this concept? That is to say, we should pay attention to the safety of truck tires and car tires. The manufacture of these tires must be demonstrated in the third phase of national safety. There are also some business tires and engineering tires, which do not need to enter the third phase of demonstration, so there are about 500 tire enterprises in China, More than 300 companies conducted the three-phase demonstration. Recently, I visited Shandong and conducted a survey. There are more than 40 tire enterprises in Shandong. Now we can see that in 2008, highways in our country have developed rapidly, and the number of cars has been close to 6.5 million, creating a very good advantage for our supporting tires and the maintenance tires in the market
in 2008, our tire enterprises encountered great difficulties, mainly due to two difficulties. In the first half of the year, the price of raw materials soared, including the price of natural rubber, which rose to nearly 28000. The next difficulty is the financial crisis. The difficulty brought about by the financial crisis is that the tire market has shrunk all of a sudden, and many tire enterprises have to reduce production and stop production, so the indicators have fallen sharply. China's tire industry is compared with the world. According to a statistics in 2008, China has 17 of the world's top 75 tires, with a total sales revenue of about US $10.57 billion, an increase of US $2.3 billion over 200947, accounting for 8.33% of the total global tire sales, an increase of 0.7 percentage points, but there is still a big gap compared with the world's three tire giants. On the other hand, we have a gap with them, which shows that we have great potential, and we need to continue to catch up with him. This table shows you that for fear of poor contact between the sample and the anvil, our tires have completed 350million, not including synthetic tires, so there is another situation in it: bias tires, so we are ready for installation; It is made of nylon that has decreased by 13%, so the radial tire has increased by 14%. The main reason is that there are more highways, the driving speed of cars is faster, radial tires can adapt to high-speed driving, and the output of radial tires has a relatively rapid growth year by year. The final test report of radial tires is our development direction. From this table, we can see that our radial tires accounted for 64% of the total tires in 2006, 75% in 2008, and we increased by 5 percentage points every year
